Cadian Shock Troops

The "Sledgehammer" of the Emperor. The Imperial Guards originate on the Fortress world of Cadia, and around 50% of Cadia's population is under arms. They are born and bred for war, and armed with some of the finest equipment available to Guardsmen.

Cadian Shock Troops like to line up at one end of the battlefield and fire volleys of munitions at the enemy.

The Cadian Shock Troops "reason detra" is the defense of the Cadian gate. The Cadian Gate is an area of calm space leading in and out of the Eye of Terror. It is located to the galactic south-east of the Eye, and is the only predictably stable way out. It is therefore a site of frequent raids by the forces of Chaos.

Cadian Shock Troops see themselves as the elite.
